Operação marca entrada da Companhia no Maranhão
SÃO PAULO, 26 de janeiro de 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A BHG S.A. – Brazil Hospitality Group (BM&FBovespa: BHGR3) anuncia assinatura de um contrato para a aquisição da administradora de hotéis Grupo Solare. Com a compra, a BHG iniciará operações no Maranhão, o segundo maior estado da região Nordeste, assumindo a administração hoteleira de 8 hotéis, que totalizam 1.100 quartos à sua carteira.
Atualmente, o Grupo Solare é responsável pela operação de 7 hotéis em São Luís, nas categorias budget (Soft Inn), econômico (Expresso XXI) e midscale (Solare Hotéis e Suítes), totalizando 858 quartos. Além destes, opera o hotel de luxo Gran Solare Lençóis Resort com 242 quartos, na cidade de Barreirinhas, localizado à beira do Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses.
A Companhia assume a operação dos empreendimentos a partir de 01 de abril de 2012, mantendo a estrutura e base operacional da Solare, que também administrará os hotéis adquiridos pela BHG em Belém do Pará durante 2011.

A aquisição dos hotéis do Grupo Solare será fundamental para que possamos nos posicionar de forma estratégica tanto no Pará, quanto no Maranhão", afirma Pieter J. Com a aquisição, a BHG totalizará 45 hotéis entre próprios e administrados, com 8.322 quartos, distribuídos em 15 estados mais o Distrito Federal, além dos 12 hotéis em desenvolvimento, que adicionarão 2.329 quartos à rede nos próximos anos, elevando o número de quartos próprios e administrados para aproximadamente 10.700 no final de 2014.
